A Connecticut man and his wife are accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a child, authorities announced. David Desimone and Holly Desimone, of Plainfield, were the focus of the Plainfield Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit after a report was made in June. In case Atlantic County employees need another reason to root for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. County Executive Dennis Levinson announced county offices will have a two-hour delayed opening on Monday, Feb. 10, but there's a catch: only if the Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs. "Should they lose, Eagles fans will not be staying up late to celebrate," Linda Gilmore, the chief of staff for Levinson wrote. A heat advisory and excessive heat watch are both in effect across New Jersey and Pennsylvania ahead of scorching temps expected later this week. Temps are expected to rise into the low 90s Tuesday, June 18 (see heat index maps below) and get increasingly hotter as the week progresses.
