A school bus careened into three rowhomes after clipping a trailer during a turn in North Philadelphia, police announced on Tuesday, May 27.
The crash happened around 7:10 a.m. on the 2600 block of North 17th Street as the bus, operated by the School District of Philadelphia, attempted to make a right turn from Huntingdon Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

A crash involving a school bus, a truck and trailer, and a car left one person trapped at Route 372 and May Post Office Road in Eden Township, officials said.
The accident was reported at 6:54 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, prompting a response from the Quarryville Fire Department (QFD) and Lancaster EMS (LEMSA), according to QFD.
Upon arrival, firefighters removed two doors from the car to extricate the trapped victim, who sustained only minor injuries, the department said.

Nassim Younes, 86, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, from traumatic brain injuries sustained in a crash on Friday, Jan. 4, 2002. He was crossing the 300 block of W. Tilghman Street when he was hit by a school bus, according to the coroner.

Two more people have been arrested for shooting at a school bus full of students in Coatesville, Chester County officials announced on Sunday, Nov. 10.
