A Chambersburg man who removed his court-ordered ankle monitor and fled probation officers has been taken into custody, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Sept. 11. Robert Guilfoyle, 22, of Hamilton Township, was wanted after allegedly cutting off his ankle monitor, according to police. Troopers interviewed his roommates, who told investigators that Guilfoyle had been drinking alcohol before leaving the residence and that a large kitchen knife was missing. A convicted sex offender has been taken back into custody after violating his probation terms, the West York Borough Police Department announced on Thursday, Aug. 28. Phillip A. Glatfelter, 44, was removed from his Monroe Street residence and booked into York County Prison after police coordinated with York County Probation to address the violation, authorities said. A Lancaster man fatally shot himself hours before he was due in court for sentencing in a brutal 2021 double stabbing, authorities confirmed on Wednesday, July 2. A 26-year-old Pennsylvania sex offender out on probation has been arrested on accusations he was chatting with a minor, authorities said. The Meghan's Law website shows that Justin Refsnyder has two prior convictions: sexual abuse of children and possession of child pornography. An Allentown man with a lengthy criminal history of drug and fraud-related offenses has died by suicide while incarcerated at Lehigh County Jail, authorities announced on Friday, March 14. Forest M.
