Actor Brad Everett Young Killed In Wrong-Way Crash At Age 46
Brad Everett Young, an actor, celebrity photographer, and advocate for arts education, was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles. He was 46.
The crash happened late Sunday, Sept. 14, when a wrong-way driver hit Young’s car on the 134 Freeway. He had just seen a movie and was driving alone, his publicist told The Hollywood Reporter. Young died at the scene. The other driver survived and was hospitalized, the outlet reported.

Terence Stamp, the charismatic actor whose icy stare and commanding presence electrified screens from ‘60s through the blockbuster era of Superman, died on Sunday, Aug. 17.
His family confirmed his death, at age 87, to The New York Times. No place or cause of death was given.

A local park honoring Southern Lehigh graduate and standout athlete Ayden Scharper is being planned in Coopersburg, his mother announced in a fundraiser launched just days after his death.
Ayden J. Scharper, 19, died by suicide in Allentown on Friday, June 6, and now his family is working to preserve his memory by building a recreational space that reflects his love for sports and the outdoors.

A 19-year-old standout athlete from Upper Saucon Township was found dead on a sidewalk in Allentown late Friday night, officials announced on Tuesday, June 10.
Ayden J. Scharper, a 2023 Southern Lehigh High School graduate, was pronounced dead at 11:49 p.m. on Friday, June 6, on the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Scharper was discovered on the sidewalk at the scene. An autopsy determined the manner of death was suicide, the coroner said, adding that no foul play was suspected, the coroner’s office noted.

The Pennsylvania man who shot and dismembered popular DC photographer Joe Shymanski has been found guilty of murder in Calvert County, authorities announced.
Brandon Ross Holbrook was convicted by a jury following an eight-day trial of his role in the brutal murder of Shymanski, who prosecutors described as "a prominent Washington, DC, photographer and businessman."
According to the Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office, Holbrook shot Shymanski on Sept. 3, 2023, in the driveway of Shymanski’s Huntingtown home.
