Coroner IDs Body Found In Delaware River Officials have identified the body found in the Delaware River last month as a 36-year-old Pennsylvania man. Authorities had initially asked the public for help in identifying the man using his tattoos, after his body was discovered in Upper Mount Bethel Township on May 25, as previously reported by Daily Voice. According to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek, the man is James William Marello, whose last known addresses are in Pottsville and Mount Carmel. Foot Found Near River ID'd As Missing PA Woman Thanks To NJ College Students A foot found along the Delaware River in 2017 has finally been identified, thanks to student researchers at a New Jersey college. The remains belonged to Maria Quinones Garcia, who was 54 years old when she went missing from her home in Allentown, PA, in 2014, according to a release from the Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) Center in Mahwah.  The students used a DNA profile created from bone remains found in Warren County, NJ, and traced the mystery back to Garcia using genetic genealogy. The remains of Nicholas Paul Grubb, 27, of Fort Washington, Montgomery County, were discovered in January 1977 by two Appalachian Trail hikers who had ducked inside the cave to escape foul weather, according to the Berks County Coroner which announced the news last week. Skeletal Remains Found In Montco Identified: Coroner The human skull and other skeletal remains found in a Towamencin retention basin on March 18 have been identified, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.  They belonged to 34-year-old Isaias Hernandez-Geronimo, said Coroner Janine Darby at a press conference on Tuesday, July 30.  The remains were discovered by a surveyor in a wooded area near the retention basin on Welsh Road, officials said previously.
