A Lancaster County teen drowned while swimming in a pond on a Peach Bottom farm, the Lancaster County Coroner announced on Monday, Aug. 4. Omar Fisher, 15, of Peach Bottom, was recovered from the pond on the 100 block of Herr Drive in Fulton Township around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, officials said. A former Kutztown University basketball standout was shot and killed early Sunday morning in downtown Allentown during what authorities describe as a violent road rage incident. Tamir R. Johnson, 35, of Whitehall Township, was found with a gunshot wound near the 500 block of West Hamilton Street around 3:37 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Police in Rhode Island have identified human remains found near Taylor Swift’s mansion in the wealthy beach community of Watch Hill as belonging to a missing man from Massachusetts.
