124 MPH Chase Ends In Crash On Penn State Campus, Ends In Arrest Days Later: Affidavit (Update)
A 124 mph police chase through Middletown ended in a crash on a Penn State campus and an arrest, authorities said.
Joshua Lugo, 43, of Middletown, was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 25, following a high-speed pursuit, according to Lower Swatara Township Police and an affidavit obtained on April 2.
Lugo is charged with felony fleeing an officer, misdemeanor evading arrest, misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person, misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and five additional counts, police said.

A 35-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm in North Wildwood, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 18.
On Saturday, Aug. 14, officers received information a group of people were in possession of a gun near 23rd Avenue and the boardwalk, North Wildwood police said. Paul Volpe was found to be in possession of a Sig Sauer P290 .380, which was stolen out of Pennsylvania, police said.
