Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. He wrote sports for The Ithacan and The Ithaca Journal before taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest, where he served as the sports editor at the Shoshone News-Press until heading back east to work with Daily Voice.

Gregory Granger, Jr. has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Ricky Forehand and a second man during a dispute late last year. Thousands Without Power In Arlington Area Amid Freezing Temperatures (Developing) Thousands in Virginia were left in the cold on Friday afternoon as Dominion Energy worked to repair an outage reported in the Arlington area. As of 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, crews were working on multiple projects that left more than 6,000 of its 2.78 million customers, largely in Arlington.
