Metal Arrow Pierces Through Cat's Head In Lancaster County Town, Police Say Police are investigating after a cat was found with a metal arrow pierced through its head last week in Lancaster County, they said. Pequea Township police were called to a home on the 100 block of West Willow Road where a resident had found the cat on Thursday, July 25, local police said. ORCA was contacted and took the animal for treatment. The arrow was removed from the cat, who remains under the care of ORCA as it recovers.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pequea Township Police Department via dispatch at 717-664-1180. 1 Hospitalized After Train Strikes Vehicle In Lancaster Co.: Authorities One person is in the hospital after their vehicle was struck by a train on Tuesday, July 30, a supervisor with Lancaster County Wide Communication told Daily Voice. The call to the train versus car collision at the railroad crossing in the 2500 block of Horse Road in Upper Leacock Township came into LCWC around 4 p.m. One person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital, and their injuries are reportedly minor.  The road was closed at 5:15 p.m. as emergency crews remained on the scene.

Lancaster County Man's Disappearance Is 'Suspicious': State Police A Lancaster County man with ties to Maryland is missing, say Pennsylvania State Police.  Matthew Whisman was last seen at the end of March at an East Drumore Township home, according to troopers.
