A former high school quarterback has struggled with his mental health since he was 19-years-old; he has been in and out of the prison system ever since. Now, he has pleaded guilty to multiple assaults while in a "psychotic state," public records show and the Lancaster District Attorney's Office announced on June 27. Victim Stabbed During Knifepoint Robbery In Kennett Square: Police
One man was slashed in the face and stabbed in the stomach during a Kennett Square mugging, according to police. Authorities said the robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. on June 21. Manuel Ordonez-Chitic approached the victim near West South Street and Union Street, brandished a knife, and stole his wallet and phone, police said. Four women were abducted, threatened with weapons, and sexually assaulted in a shipping container in the Poconos this week, according to state troopers. Police said they received a phone call about a possible kidnapping involving a Ford SUV around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. They tracked the vehicle down at the Mount Pocono Walmart and found one victim with suspect Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, troopers said. A woman was left with bruises on her face and arms after a convict accosted her vehicle on Route 222 and robbed her, West Earl Township Police announced in a release on Tuesday, June, 11. Michael Eugene Ermold Jr., 57 of Lancaster (who is reportedly experiencing homelessness), is accused of attacking a woman near mile marked 36.8 shortly before 7 p.m. on June 4, the police detailed in a release. Carjacker Who Threatened To Inject Victims With Syringe Sentenced: Bucks DA
A convicted carjacker who brandished a syringe during a string of Bucks County thefts will spend up to two decades in prison, according to prosecutors. The District Attorney's Office said Monday that Kevin O’Connell was sentenced to 11 to 25 years in prison.
