Elementary Student Hospitalized After Shooting Near Lancaster Home: Officials An elementary school student was hospitalized after a shooting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to officials with the School District of Lancaster on Friday, Nov. 15. The Elizabeth R. Martin Elementary School student was shot near their home Wednesday, Principal Tom Mumma explained in an email to staff and families on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 14.  The age and gender of the student were not shared, nor was the location of the shooting.
