A man threatened to kill people and fired gunshots during a weapons violation incident in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
The encounter happened in the 200 block of Amishtown Road in Earl Township at approximately 1:03 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, according to the New Holland Police Department.
Victims told officers they were traveling east on Amishtown Road when they came across a stopped vehicle. A middle-aged man stood outside the car, waved a gun, and shouted, "I'm going to kill you," authorities said.

A Lancaster Township mother admitted to breastfeeding her toddler while using methamphetamine and marijuana, authorities announced on Friday, Jan. 31.
Kristina Kadian, 32, and Joseph Eberle, 45, are accused of selling meth from their home while the child was present, according to the Lancaster County Drug Task Force. Both were charged with felony possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felony conspiracy, and felony endangering the welfare of children.

Lancaster Mom Launches Fundraiser After Arson-Suicide Kills Husband, Injures Family
A Lancaster Township woman has started a GoFundMe after her husband died in an arson-suicide that left two of their sons and a family guest critically injured.
Sophan Duong, the wife of Simon Hen, created the fundraiser to support her family after the Sunday, Jan. 19 fire that destroyed their home on Wilderness Road.
The fire, sparked during a domestic dispute, began when Hen, 46, poured gasoline throughout the upstairs of the house and set it ablaze, police said. He died at the scene from smoke inhalation and thermal burns, according to Lancaster County Coroner Eric Bieber.
