Maryland Native Killed In I-81 Crash: PA State Police A Maryland native and Greencastle local was killed in a crash on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Oct. 31.  Adam Emerick, 33, of Greencastle, was found dead at the scene of a crash near mile marker 0.8 of I-81 North, near the Maryland/Pennsylvania border, around 2:33 a.m., according to PA State Police. 'Tragic': Support Rises For Family Of Beloved PA Man, 18, Killed In Crash After Leaving Class Support is on the rise for the heartbroken family of a beloved Lehigh Valley man, who died in a brutal crash Thursday, July 21 at the age of 18. Alessandro Gonzalez, of Bethlehem, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash on Rt. 100 and Blackhorse Road in West Vincent Township, local police said.
