The blast occurred in the rear commercial vehicle parking lot of the westbound plaza at mile marker 202.5 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, at approximately 4:55 a.m., authorities said. Man Killed In Carbon County Blast Was 'Experimenting With Explosives': PSP A Lehighton man is dead after state police said he was "experimenting with explosives" on Wednesday morning, Jan. 24.  It happened in a detached garage at a home on Franklin Heights Road in Weissport, Franklin Township just before 3 a.m., troopers said.  The explosion caused a small fire and killed 58-year-old Steve Sensinger, police wrote in a release.
