8-Year-Old Girl Found Dead In Pennsylvania Bedroom, Police Say (Developing) An 8-year-old girl was found dead in her bedroom and the cause is unknown, police announced on Wednesday night, Sept. 4.  The girl was found unresponsive in her bedroom and 911 was called around Wednesday, police explained. PPD and PFD-Medic Unit responded to the call of an unresponsive child on the 1700 block of West Lippincott Street, in the 39th District, at 6:39 p.m. "The PFD-Medic Unit performed CPR for several minutes on the child, but she was pronounced dead at 6:57 p.m.," the police said.  The scene was still being held at 8:42 p.m. No additional information was ava…

Pennsylvania Woman Drowns In Waterfall At Glacier National Park (Updated) A 26-year-old Pennsylvania woman died after falling into the water at Glacier National Park in Montana, according to officials.  The National Parks Service said Gillian Tones of North Apollo slipped on a rock and fell into the water above St. Mary Falls on Sunday afternoon, June 23.  Witnesses said Tones was washed over the falls and trapped underwater for "several minutes," rangers said in a release. Officer Saves Life After Cardiac Event At PA Gym, Police Say An off-duty police officer saved the life of a person who collapsed due to a cardiac event outside a gym in Ephrata,  authorities announced on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.  Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department Officer Derek Oleszczuk was working out inside of the gym when he witnessed another patron collapse at Vitality Athletics 350 North Reading Road, according to the release.
