Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. Woman Buried In Basement For $100K In Social Security Benefits: Usdoj A 37-year-old Philadelphia woman was caught stealing nearly $100,000 in Social Security benefits stolen from a woman she allegedly buried under her house, the US Department of Justice announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Holly Sadowski was arrested on charges of Social Security fraud, wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft, for concealing the death of a woman, U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero explained. Pennsylvania Police Chaplain George Searfoss Killed In Crash A police chaplain has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Pastor George Searfoss died "unexpectedly after being involved in a vehicle accident on September 11, 2024 in Chester County," the Upper Merion Police wrote in a release. Child Under 5 Killed, 5 Others Injured In Lebanon House Fire (Developing) A child is dead and five other people — including four children — were hurt in a fire in Lebanon City on Friday morning Sept. 13, officials explained. 5-Month-Old Infant Takes Cocaine, Fentanyl Parents Got In PA Prison, Police Say A 5-month-old baby girl was found with cocaine and fentanyl in her system that police believe her parents got in the Cumberland County Prison, according to multiple releases on Friday, Sept. 13. Homicide: Man Police Cannot ID Shot Dead In York A man was found shot dead in York City and police had yet to be able to identified him at the time of the police release at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Officers were called to a report of a man shot dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the the 800 block of West College Avenue around 4:52 p.m., as detailed in the release. Vietnam Veteran, PA Firefighter, Blaine Horn, Dies On 9/11 A former firefighter in multiple counties in Pennsylvania and a Vietnam veteran died on Wednesday, Sept. 11, his former station announced. Blaine W. Horn, 75, of Slatedale, passed away at his home, according to his obituary posted on Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc.'s website.
