PA Firefighter Killed In Crash Was 'Ring-Hunting' For His Girlfriend, Loved Ones Say Colin Reedy, the Chester County firefighter who was killed in a car crash late Friday, Oct. 20, planned to spend the rest of his life with his girlfriend, loved ones said in his obituary.  The 25-year-old Reedy and his partner Emily Gindele, were both volunteers with the West Whiteland Fire Company, who were on their way to a call during heavy downpours when their vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree around 9 p.m., authorities have said. Serious Storm Damage From Flash Flood In Eastern PA (Photos) More storms may be yet to come, the National Weather Service advised as authorities are assessing damage after major thunderstorms left portions of Chester County underwater on Tuesday, July 25.  The National Weather Service had warned of a severe thunderstorm watch from Washington DC to the northern border of Connecticut around noon and lasting through 8 p.m.  By 8:30 p.m., the West Whiteland Fire Company said that it had made 16 water rescues to pull more than 30 people from their vehicles that had been caught in the flood.  "We cannot stress enough do not drive through flooded roadways…
