Motorcyclist Injured In Delco Hit-Run Crash
A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash Saturday, June 18 in Delaware County, authorities said. The crash happened on the reservoir bridge around 6:20 p.m., Upper Providence police said. The driver fled the scene in a red four-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac, according to police. The motorcyclist was left with multiple injuries, police said. Their condition was not immediately known. Officers Cleared In Montgomery County Police Shootout
An independent investigation determined that three officers were justified in a police shootout in Montgomery County earlier this month. The three officers were in danger of being killed by David Naumenko, 62, who shot at them from inside a truck full of firearms at the Meadows Apartments in Mont Clare around 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Suburban Philly Officer Dies After COVID Related Illness, Department Says
The suburban Philadelphia police community is in mourning following the untimely death of one of their own. Officer Joshua "Josh" Micun died Sunday after contracting a COVID-19 related illness, according to the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department. Officer Micun was most recently named Westtown-East Goshen officer of the year by his peers, police said. Micun previously worked with Delaware County Park police, Upper Providence police, and Aston Township police, according to his obituary.
