A Delaware County man was arrested for raping a girl 20 times during the course of his time working at a daycare center 16 years ago, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Police are investigating an Upper Darby homicide. Authorities said a 27-year-old was shot multiple times near Baltimore Avenue and Penn Boulevard in the early morning hours on Saturday, May 18. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died. Investigators believe the victim was involved in a dispute at a bar before the shooting. A man who police say has an active arrest warrant walked out of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital on Friday morning, Oct. 6 and has not been seen since, according to authorities.
