A Philadelphia man who fatally stabbed a Macy's security guard and injured another during a robbery attempt has pleaded guilty to murder, authorities announced. Tyrone Tunnell, 31, admitted to killing 27-year-old Eric Harrison and wounding a second guard during a confrontation at the Macy's store on 13th and Market streets in December 2023, police said. The knife-wielding attacker that left one Macy's employee dead and sent another to the hospital Monday morning was trying to rob the store, according to Philadelphia police. Two security guards were stabbed at the 1300 Market Street store around 11 a.m. on Dec. 4, Daily Voice reported previously.
