"Americas Best Restaurants" are slated to stop by Dagwood's Pub in Torresdale this month, producers say. The ABR Roadshow will be filming on location on May 27 to highlight the pub's "special place" in the Northeast Philadelphia community, according to showrunners. Dagwood's, 4625 Linden Avenue, will show off their most popular dishes through an interview with owners Ed and Theresa Grzeskiewicz. Police Investigate Deadly Shooting On I-95 In Philly: Report
State police are investigating a deadly shooting on I-95 in Philadelphia, according to a report by 6ABC. Troopers were dispatched to the northbound lane of I-95 near Academy Road in the city's Torresdale neighborhood at around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, the outlet wrote. Sources told 6ABC that one person was dead. Police were initially called for a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound, but the case is now being investigated as a homicide, they added. NJ Fugitive ID'd As Gunman In Philadelphia Wawa Shooting: DA
The man charged with a shooting at a northeast Philadelphia Wawa last week is also wanted for burglary in New Jersey, authorities have announced. The District Attorney's Office said Joshua Frazier, 23, shot a 34-year-old man in the stomach after getting into an argument at the Wawa on Frankford Avenue and Academy Road in Torresdale just after 4 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, multiple outlets report.
