Dad Who Left 3-Month-Old Infant Girl At Pennsylvania Walmart Turns Himself In, Police Say
A dad has turned himself over to the police in connection with a 3-month-old baby girl who was found at a Walmart in Philadelphia following a "theft in progress," police announced on Friday evening.
Alganon H. Muhammed, 22, originally of Concord Township, Delaware County, PA, most recently of Delaware, according to public records, "surrendered to police on January 26th," PPD stated in a release.
He reportedly was one of the two Black men with a white woman who were allegedly shoplifting at the Walmart located at 4301 Byberry Road on Thursday, Jan. 18, authorities said.

Giant Worker In Berks County Embezzled $24,000 From Employer, Police Claim
A grocery store employee in Spring Township is accused of bilking tens of thousands of dollars from her employer, authorities say.
Christina Bortz, 53, is charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, according to court records.
Spring police said Bortz works as the "checkout coach" or accounting employee at Giant and admitted to taking about $24,000 from the company.
Bortz, of Sinking Spring, was released on her own recognizance and is due back for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 26, court records show.
PA Scammers 'Drained' Gift Cards, Put Them Back On Store Shelves: Authorities
Two men were caught in a Bucks County grocery store trying to pull off a gift card scam last week, according to authorities.
Jian He, 28, and Min He, 35, are charged with theft and related felony counts, said Plumstead police.
It happened on Tuesday, Nov. 28 around 10 p.m., when officers were called to the Giant at Cross Keys Place for suspicious activity, the department said.
They arrived and spoke with an assistant manager who spotted two shoppers walk into the store and place 75 outside gift cards worth over $3,000 onto the rack, according to police.
