Girl Shot Dead Inside Philadelphia Apartment: Homicide Detectives A 17-year-old girl was found dead of a gunshot wound on Monday morning, July 15, Philadelphia police say.  Officers responded to a home on the 5900 block of Chancellor Street around 9 a.m., PPD said in a release. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  No weapon was recovered and no arrest was made as of Monday, they added. Homicide detectives are investigating.

14-Year-Old Killed In Bensalem Hit-Run, Say Police A teenager is dead following a hit-and-run accident in Bensalem late Thursday night, township police say.  It happened in the westbound lanes of Street Road near the Route 1 overpass around 10:15 p.m. on July 6, the department said.  Two teens were crossing the road mid-block when an oncoming sedan swerved left to avoid them, according to police. Teen Dies Days After Reading Shooting A teen who was critically injured after being shot in Reading earlier this week has died, a spokesperson for the Reading Police Department confirmed Friday.
