Siblings On Road To Recovery After Skook Crash That Killed Grandmother
Schuylkill County community members have raised thousands to help two children recover after the crash that killed their grandmother early this month. Elizabeth Ryan, 65, died when another driver struck her car head-on on Feb. 9, Daily Voice reported. Police said it happened on Route 901 near Old Phoenix Road in Cass Township. Her two grandchildren in the car, 8-year-old Laykin and 6-year-old Kaiden, were also hurt in the crash. PA Teenage Twin Dies During National Guard Training
A 17-year-old died from Pennsylvania who was training for the Army National Guard along with her twin sister, collapsed and died in South Carolina, authorities say. Pvt. Alyssa Cahoon, of Forest City, collapsed after collapsing during physical training at Fort Jackson on Thursday, August 20, according to official army statements.
