Fast-Acting Residents Stab Armed Burglar In Reading: Police
An armed burglar was stabbed by a resident over the weekend in Reading, authorities said.
Marley Serra-Seeley, 34, of Reading, broke into a Locust Street home and threatened the residents with a gun around 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 15, Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said.
A fight broke out, resulting in shots being fired and Serra-Seeley being stabbed in the neck, the chief said.

One person was killed and another injured in a Berks County crash Monday, March 14, authorities said.
A Jordan M. Smith, 22, was driving south on Route 61 just south of Hughes Hill Road in Windsor Township when his car crossed the center lane and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a car driven by Randy A. Leh, 57, around 6:45 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said.
Smith, of Tamaqua, died at the scene, while Reh, of Wyomissing, was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, according to police.

Two Shot, Killed In Reading, Police Say
Two people were shot and killed late Thursday, March 10, in Reading, authorities said.
Responding officers found two men with gunshot wounds in the 600 block of Miltimore Street around 11:45 p.m., Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said.
A 24-year-old victim died at the scene, while a 37-year-old victim was taken to Reading Hospital and later died, the chief said.
As of Friday afternoon, the victims had not been identified, and no arrests had been made.
