Former PA Firefighter Gets Up To 20 Years In Prison For Sexually Abusing Young Teen
A former Pennsylvania firefighter was sentenced to 10 to 20 years behind bars for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy he met on an online dating app in 2019, authorities said. Carlton Bell, 29, of Pottstown (Montgomery County), was arrested in January 2020, and pled guilty to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and sexual abuse of children in April 2021, according to the Chester County District Attorney's office. A Chester County man with three prior convictions for DUI was arrested again on the same charges in a head-on collision last week in North Coventry that seriously injured a Montgomery County woman, authorities said. Pottstown Woman Had 47 Heroin Baggies, Meth In Routine Traffic Stop, State Police Say
A 53-year-old Pottstown woman was busted with 47 baggies of heroin and four grams of methamphetamine, authorities said. Barbara Guerrero, was in a 2009 Ford Focus, when troopers pulled her over for unknown traffic violations just before midnight on the westbound side of Route 422/S. Collegeville Road in Upper Providence May 10, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release. Skippack troopers arrested Guerrero, with charges expected to be filed in District Court, the news release says.

Drunk Pottstown Driver Crashes On Route 422 In ChesCo, Police Say
A drunk driver who crashed her car into a Route 422 guardrail is facing several charges, police said. Officers responded to the eastbound side of the highway near mile marker 171.6 around 7:45 p.m. on March 22, where a white Chevrolet Equinox had hit a guide-rail head on, North Coventry police said. William Brian (Smirny) Delp of Montgomery County died on Feb. 14, 2021. He was 45 years old. Born in Sellersville, and a native to Lansdale, Delp worked as an electrical foreman with Hard Hat Services, LLC in Pottstown up until his death, his obituary says. He graduated from North Penn High School in 1993, and pursued his career as an electrician at Montco Technical Career Center, his obit says.
