Man Points Gun At Family, Jumps Out Window To Evade Police In Poconos: Chief
A Tobyhanna man is accused of pointing a gun at his family and fleeing police by jumping out of a window, according to Pocono Mountain Regional Police Chief Chris Wagner on Monday, Dec. 9.
Donti Jackson, 21, is charged with felony aggravated assault, felony escape, misdemeanor terroristic threats, and other related offenses, following the incident at 7032 Vista Drive in Tobyhanna, police said.

Man Killed Crossing Street In Poconos Crash: Police
A 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a street in Monroe County, according to police.
Clifton Little, of Blakeslee, was attempting to cross the road in the area of 3797 Route 115 in Blakeslee when he was struck in the northbound lane, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police said. The crash happened at 5:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.
Little was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Neil Telafor, 74, of Blakeslee, is listed as the driver of the vehicle that struck Little, police said.

Motorcyclist, 26, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Was From Mount Pocono
A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Mount Pocono was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Monroe County, authorities said.
The fatal crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 on State Route 611 at Cayuga Drive in Coolbaugh Township. Bystanders reported a vehicle struck a motorcycle and fled the scene, according to Pocono Mountain Regional Police.

Teen Leads Police On 'High-Speed' Chase Through Poconos, Police Say
A 17-year-old Monroe County boy was arrested after leading state and local police on a high-speed chase through the Poconos region last week, authorities claim in a release.
It happened on Monday, April 24, Pocono Township police wrote. Officers patrolling on Route 611 spotted a white BMW with its headlights off and tried to initiate a stop, but the driver fled the scene, the department said.
