TopGolf To Open First Philly Location This Week
TopGolf is opening in Northeast Philadelphia this week, company representatives said.
Friday, May 20 marks the grand opening of the second location in Pennsylvania.
The popular sports entertainment facility is located at 2140 Byberry Road, just off US Route 1, near the Philadelphia Mills shopping mall.
The three-level venue will feature 102 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, chef-inspired signature menu items, top-shelf drinks, music, and year-round programming for all ages.
The location is also equipped with an outdoor patio, rooftop terrace, and private event space.

Yeadon Borough Council Votes To Fire Police Chief
A borough council in Delaware County voted to fire its police chief of five years, officials said.
In a 4-3 vote on Thursday, Feb. 17, the Yeadon Borough council removed police chief Anthony Paparo for allegedly overspending on overtime hours, which cost taxpayers $387,000, his attorney, Harold Goodman, said in a letter.
Paparo is accused of overscheduling part-time officers in 2019 and 2020, thus violating the terms of the police union's collective bargaining agreement, the letter states.

Ex-Montco Deputy Sheriff Sentenced For Role In International Drug Trafficking Ring
A former Montgomery County deputy sheriff was sentenced to more than a decade in federal prison for his involvement in a global drug trafficking ring, authorities said.
In October 2018, David Landis, 44, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to import controlled substances, possession, and distributing drugs that resulted in "serious bodily injury," throughout Montgomery County and beyond, according to the U.S Department of Justice.
From 2004 to 2014, Landis worked as a deputy sheriff in East Norriton Township, PhillyVoice reports.
