Officer Struck By Suspected DUI Driver Near Eagles Playoff Game In South Philadelphia A Philadelphia police officer was injured after being struck by a vehicle near the South Philly Sports Complex during Sunday’s Eagles playoff game, authorities announced on Sunday, Jan. 19.  The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. on the 1000 block of Pattison Avenue as the Eagles faced the Rams in the NFL playoffs, police said. Fatal Crash On Pattison Avenue In South Philly: Police An 18-year-old has died following a single-car accident in South Philadelphia early Friday morning, March 1, according to city police.  Authorities said the victim's car struck a utility pole on Pattison Avenue around 2:45 a.m. He was ejected from the car and found unresponsive, authorities said.  Medics pronounced him dead at the scene at 3 a.m., police said.  His name was not reported as of late Friday morning.
