Bucks Man, 52, Charged For Repeatedly Shining Spotlight Into Neighbors' Home, Police Say
A 52-year-old Bucks County resident is facing harassment charges for shining a spotlight into his neighbor's house for several nights, authorities said. When police arrived on the scene they apparently tried to mediate the dispute, by telling Jerry Mercado and Lisa Braun to not intentionally shine a spotlight into their neighbor's home, Northampton Township police said. Mercado and Braun refused to remove the spotlight and kept it in the direction of their neighbor's property over the next few nights, police said. The roof of a Lehigh Valley bowling alley caved in due to snow accumulation Tuesday morning, causing severe damage, officials said. Police responding to a burglary alarm at Hampton Lanes on Main Street in Northampton found that the roof had completely collapsed just after 5 a.m., according to the county’s emergency alerts page. Northampton County Server, 'Sons Of American Legion' Member Thomas Hawk Dies, 26
Northampton County native, server and Sons of The American Legion member Thomas Hawk died Nov. 29 at the age of 26. Hawk was born in Allentown and attended Northampton Area High School. He then worked as a server for several local restaurants, his obituary says. Hawk was an active member of the Sons of The American Legion in Northampton and also had membership with the local Narcotics Anonymous chapter, his memorial says.
