Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued In These NJ, PA Counties
The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings and warned of 60 mph winds across parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Friday, June 14.
At 4:15 p.m., the NWS issued the warnings for Sussex and Warren counties in New Jersey, and Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton, in PA.
Newton, Washington, Jim Thorpe, Stroudsburg, Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, are also being warned of severe storms.
The warnings are in effect through 5 p.m.

A Honda Civic heading south on W. Owassa Turnpike (Route 521) crossed over the double yellow line and struck a Honda CRV heading north, head-on around 11:50 a.m. near milepost 26.2 in Frankford Township, NJSP Sgt. Charles Marchan said.

Police: Sussex County Father, 53, Killed In PA Rollover Crash
A Sussex County father was killed in a rollover crash on Route 6 in Pike County, PA, state police said.
Edward Faber III was driving a 1999 Ford Expedition on Route 6 when he veered off the road and overturned several times near Twin Lakes Drive in Shohola Township just after 5 p.m. Friday, according to PSP.
Faber, of Sussex, was ejected in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Born in Paterson, Faber went to Jefferson Township High School and spent 12 years living in Pennsylvania before settling in Sussex, where he worked as a contractor in Newton, his obituary says.
