Human Remains Found Near Delaware River In Philly: Police Bones belonging to an unidentified adult were found near the Delaware River in Philadelphia on Sunday, Nov. 3, police said. A witness stated that she was at Penn Treaty Park when she found two bones that appeared to be human shin bones at 5:02 p.m., according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The bones were located in a grassy, rocky area along the park’s waterline, police said. The Medical Examiner’s Office collected the bones for further investigation. Woman Found Dead At Philly Airport Marriott Had Cloth In Mouth: Authorities Detectives are investigating after a 66-year-old woman was found dead at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott on Monday night, Sept. 26, city police told Daily Voice.  The unnamed woman was found lifeless in a hotel room with a cloth in her mouth around 10:40 p.m., the department said.  Her remains were taken to the Medical Examiner's Office. Police called her death "suspicious" and said the Homicide Division is investigating.  6abc reports that the woman was a flight attendant for American Airlines.

'Decomposing' Body Pulled From Delaware River, Police Say Philadelphia police are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the Delaware River late on Sunday, July 23, the department told Daily Voice.  It happened just before 8 p.m. near the corner of North Delaware Avenue and Orthodox Street in Bridesburg, authorities said.  The remains were found in the water by a passing ship and reported to the US Coast Guard, police said.
