A decade after a central Pennsylvania woman went missing police the search is reignited as her community continues to hold out hope.
Kortne Stouffer, 21, vanished from her Palmyra apartment on the morning of July 29, 2012, leaving her purse, keys, cellphone, and dog behind, according to Lebanon Chief County Detective Jonathan Hess in a release on Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Police Nab Man Wanted For 5 Robberies Across Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon Counties
An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with five robberies across Berks, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties, authorities said.
Hezekiah S. Gingerich's latest stop was the Turkey Hill store on New Holland Road in Brecknock Township (Berks County), where he robbed a person at gunpoint around 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, local police said.
The Narvon man had robbed the same store on May 18, along with stores in Robeson Township (Berks County), Elizabeth Township (Lancaster County), and Cornwall Borough (Lebanon County), police said.

Lebanon County Commissioner, 81, Dies Of Covid-19 Complications
Lebanon County Commissioner William "Bill" Ames has died of COVID-19 complications.
Ames, 81, died Tuesday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, according to a press release from the county commissioner's office.
The Republican was in the middle of his third four-year term.
He “has served, for the last ten years, with a forthright desire to confront fiscal and social issues that challenge counties on a daily basis,” the release says. “His consistent approach was always to be a listener, to give thoughtful consideration, and to make fair decisions."
