A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced for raping a girl for years, beginning when she was just 9-years-old, authorities announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024. Timothy Barker, 48, of Leola, has been sentenced to serve 25-50 years in a State Correctional Institution by Lancaster County Judge Dennis Reinaker, the West Lampeter Township Police Department detailed in the updated release from the Lancaster County DA. A central Pennsylvania man has been convicted for raping and sexually assaulting multiple children over a period of five years, authorities say. Victor Charles Smith, 43, of the 3500 block of Lincoln Highway East, Kinzers, was found guilty two years after the victims came forward following nightmares of their abuse which plagued them to the point where they couldn't sleep through the night, according to a release by the Lancaster County district attorney's office. A Central Pennsylvania wedding DJ who two years ago pleaded guilty in the 1992 killing of school teacher Christy Mirack is changing his story: He's innocent, he says. Lancaster's Raymond Rowe -- otherwise known as DJ Freez -- in 2019 pleaded guilty to first degree murder and was sentenced to life without parole plus 60 to 120 years.
