Kristopher Laffredo, a beloved Norristown father, brother, uncle, and son, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on April 3, according to his obituary from Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Funeral Home. He was 38. Laffredo was involved in a crash near the corner of Stump Hall and Anders roads in Skippack Township on March 15 and taken to Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia where he later died, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Officer Hospitalized, Driver Killed After Pinning Patrolman With Car: PPD
A driver was shot dead by an officer after pinning the patrolman to a wall with his car, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel announced in a press conference late on Thursday night. The patrolman had been conducting a solo traffic stop at F Street and Roosevelt Blvd but pursued the driver to Adams and Newtown avenues in the 25th District, the Crescentville neighborhood, just after 7 p.m. on Feb. 15, Commissioner Kevin Bethel detailed. 55-Year-Old Driver Killed In Germantown Crash: Police
One person is dead after two cars collided on a North Philadelphia street on Tuesday, Dec. 12, authorities told Daily Voice. A 55-year-old man was going south on the 5000 block of Belfield Avenue around noon when his car struck an oncoming driver head-on, police said. The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, according to officials. Police said the other driver was taken to Jefferson Einstein Hospital but their condition was unclear. Authorities did not name the fatally injured victim.
