Support Surges For Family Of Philly Teen Killed On Way To School In the week since 15-year-old Devin Weedon was shot dead on his way to school, his neighbors and community have rallied to support his loved ones.  The teen was walking in North Philadelphia early on March 28 when he was fatally shot during an apparent robbery attempt, city police have said.  Now, in a GoFundMe campaign set up by his sister Jasmine Burnside, his Philly neighbors have raised thousands to honor his memory.  The campaign, launched on Friday, March 31, has raised more than $8,000 as of Thursday, April 6.
