Sex Offender Husband, Wife Face Child Pornography Charges: Berks County DA
A convicted sex offender and his Reading wife have been arrested on child pornography charges, according to the Berks County District Attorney's Office. Dennis Deiter, 46, and Elizabeth Deiter, 34, both "admitted to utilizing their respective cellular telephones to view child pornography," prosecutors wrote in a release on Wednesday, July 24. A Sinking Spring man was taken into custody after a police raid turned up hundreds of files of child sexual abuse material, said Berks County prosecutors. Andrew M. Bush was charged with child pornography and related counts, wrote the District Attorney's Office in a release. Mindi Mebane Kassotis has been identified months after she was found dismembered at a hunting club in Georgia, and her husband has been arrested in Pennsylvania, authorities announced on Friday, May 12, 2023.
