A 21-year-old fugitive in a Pottstown shooting was arrested by members of the US Marshals Service in California, authorities said. Tyshaun Harvey, of Pottstown, was nabbed this week at a motel in Susanville, CA, near the Nevada border, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said Wednesday, Aug. 10. Man Wanted For Murder In Upper Darby, Police Say
Police in Delaware County are seeking the public's help in locating a wanted man. Abdul Rafi Muhsin is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection with an incident that happened in May, Upper Darby police said. Muhsin is known to frequent parts of Philadelphia, particularly the Germantown/Mount Airy/West Oak Lane sections, police said. A gunman wanted on a first-degree murder charge in a deadly shooting in Reading earlier this year has been arrested in New York City, authorities said. Deivis Gutiérrez-García, 21, was captured Wednesday, July 6 in the Bronx, Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said. He had been wanted in the Feb. 26 shooting death of 23-year-old Jackson Reyes-Negrón, who was found on the 1000 block of Green Street, police said. A confessed and convicted killer who struggled with mental health issues has died in prison, according to a release by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. Matthew VanZandt, 33, originally of Allentown, was found unresponsive in his cell in SCI Houtzdale in Clearfield County on May 11, 2022, the release shows. NJ Men Indicted In Deadly House Party Shooting
Two men from South Jersey have been indicted in a double-shooting that left one victim dead and another wounded during a party, according to NJ Advance Media. Kiyon B. Johnson, 22, of Salem, and Rayneer T. Foster, 25, of Penns Grove, were indicted by a Salem County grand jury for first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the outlet said.
