The probable cause affidavit in the quadruple murders of University of Idaho students was unsealed Thursday, Jan. 5 as prime suspect Bryan Kohberger appeared in court, suggesting that at least one of the victims and one surviving roommate were awake during the crimes. Video On Murder Victim's Phone Helps Police Nab His Philadelphia Killer: DA
Authorities have arrested the man they say was caught on video fatally shooting another in Norristown. Eugene Ware, 41, of Philadelphia, is charged with the murder of 35-year-old Tyrone Guy on West Main Street late on Monday, Nov. 21. He was taken into custody in Bucks County early on Wednesday, Nov. 30, after a "brief standoff" at a home in Sellersville, officials said. Three Berks County men are in police custody after authorities said they carried out a double homicide early this year. Emanuel Soto, 18, of Reading, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 31 by Reading police and FBI agents, city officials said in a press release. PA Man Sentenced For Stabbing Aunt, Husband To Death In Poconos: Report
A Pennsylvania man who stabbed his aunt and her husband to death in the Poconos has learned his fate, WFMZ reports. Lancelot Fortune, 31, of Stroudsburg, was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the 2018 killings, the outlet says citing court documents. Prosecutors say Fortune went to the movies in Philadelphia after killing 56-year-old Isadora Fortune and 54-year-old Richard Fells in their Marcelle Terrace home in Pocono Township, according to the outlet. Man Wanted For Murder In Upper Darby, Police Say
Police in Delaware County are seeking the public's help in locating a wanted man. Abdul Rafi Muhsin is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection with an incident that happened in May, Upper Darby police said. Muhsin is known to frequent parts of Philadelphia, particularly the Germantown/Mount Airy/West Oak Lane sections, police said. A gunman wanted on a first-degree murder charge in a deadly shooting in Reading earlier this year has been arrested in New York City, authorities said. Deivis Gutiérrez-García, 21, was captured Wednesday, July 6 in the Bronx, Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said. PA Man Who Murdered His Boyfriend Found Dead In Prison Cell: DOC
A confessed and convicted killer who struggled with mental health issues has died in prison, according to a release by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
