A man is in the hospital and a Washington, DC woman — who previously pleaded guilty to prostitution in Maryland — has been arrested in Pennsylvania after a bizarre situation at a Days Inn, authorities announced on Monday, Nov. 20. Lehigh Valley Man Lied About Pregnant Girlfriend's Kidnapping, Say Police
The man who told Allentown police his pregnant girlfriend was abducted during a carjacking over the weekend was lying, authorities claim. Junior Gomez Richardo called police at 3 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 and said that his car had been "forcibly taken" near Walnut and Union streets, according to APD. Paterson Officer Indicted In Accused Beating Of Arab-American Resident
A Paterson police officer beat a 19-year-old Arab-American man and then lied about it, a federal grand jury charged. Officers Kevin Patino, 29, violated the civil rights of the victim, according to the indictment returned in U.S. District Court in Newark, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
