A 26-year-old man who had been wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Norristown is in custody, authorities said. An arrest warrant has been issued after a 57-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed on a Norristown street, prosecutors say. A sheet had been placed over Cruz's windshield following the crash to hide the damage, officials say. Woman Nabbed For Deadly Eastern PA Street Racing Crash
A Norristown woman is in police custody after authorities say she caused a crash that killed one person and injured six more while street racing through the middle of the city. Twenty-year-old Ashley Jones is charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, and related counts, said the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26, prosecutors said. DA: West Norriton Man 'Shook Life' Out Of 6 Week Old Daughter, Gets 3rd Degree Murder Charge
A West Norriton man was arrested on third-degree murder charges for allegedly "shaking the life" out of his six-week-old daughter after she fell from his bed, authorities said. Police were dispatched on reports of a cardiac arrest to a home on Centre Avenue on Feb. 22 around noon to find Kendra Simmons performing CPR on her infant daughter, MacKenna Baylis, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.
