Incidents on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, Sept. 28 included: A burglary at Nat's Beauty Supply Store on the 6800 block of Frankford Avenue in Mayfair. All liquor stores in Philadelphia — and one in Montgomery County — are closed after the looting that took place throughout the city on Tuesday night, Sept. 26. Twenty or more people are in police custody after a group of "criminal opportunists" looted stores in Center City and elsewhere Tuesday night, Sept. 26, Interim Philadelphia Police Commissioner John M. The District Attorney's Office will file an appeal after a Philadelphia municipal judge dismissed the charges against Officer Mark Dial for the killing of 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry during a traffic stop last month.
