Two Pennsylvania residents are facing charges after a routine traffic stop in Rochelle Park uncovered illegal prescription drugs, stolen credit cards, and luxury goods purchased fraudulently, police said.
Dashaun Smith, 32, of Philadelphia, and Latisha Rice, 39, of Reading, were arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at approximately 8 p.m., following a stop initiated by Rochelle Park Officer Chris Kiszka on West Passaic Street, RPPD Capt. James DePreta said.

Two Miami spring break goers accused of drugging and raping a 24-year-old Bucks County woman found dead in a hotel room earlier this year now face first-degree murder charges, according to several news reports.
A grand jury in Miami-Dade County found Evoire Collier, 21, and Dorian Taylor, 25, both of Greensboro, NC responsible for the fentanyl-induced death in March of Richboro's Christine Englehardt, 6abc reports.

Police: Philadelphia Man Who Stole Wallet From Restaurant Customer, Spent $1,500 Surrenders
A 48-year-old Philadelphia man who swiped a wallet from a woman's purse while she was eating at a restaurant surrendered to police, authorities said Monday.
Clifton Fleming turned himself in on Dec. 3, on an active warrant stemming from the Oct. 18 incident, Central Bucks Regional police said.
Fleming took the wallet containing $250 in cash and credit cards while the woman was dining at Pag's Pub in Doylestown, authorities said.
Fleming used the woman's credit cards to make more than $1,500 in purchases, police said.
