Man Struck Dead By Amtrak In Philly, Police Say
A man was struck dead by an Amtrak in Philadelphia on Saturday night, Philadelphia Police announced on July 14. The "John Doe" was struck by the Amtrak along the tracks at Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street in Mayfair at 9:43 p.m. on July 13, PPD detailed in the release. The striking train, Engine 52, had been heading south, according to the police. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 10:13 p.m. Additional information was unavailable at the time of publishing. Check back here for possible updates.

Woman Hurt, Child Critical After Northeast Philadelphia Crash: Police
A woman and her young child were hospitalized Tuesday evening, June 25 when a car struck them as they crossed the street, said Philadelphia police. The pair were crossing Bridge Street at Summerdale Avenue when a 2002 Toyota Highlander turned left onto the road and hit them, PPD said. Authorities were called to the scene just after 6 p.m. Both victims were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where the woman, 26, is in stable condition. Motorcyclist Killed, Woman Left With Severed Arm In Philadelphia: Report
A motorcyclist was killed and woman was left with a severed arm in a Friday, Sept. 9 crash in Philadelphia, CBS reports. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at Bridge and Tacony streets, when the 59-year-old motorcyclist struck a Honda minivan attempting to turn, the outlet said citing police. Mom, Daughters Injured In I-95 Philly Crash, Report Says
A mom and her two daughters were left injured after a crash on I-95 Monday, CBS3 reports. Around 12:30 a.m., the family was driving west on Bridge Street, attempting to turn onto the I-95 ramp, when a tractor-trailer crashed into the car, according to the news outlet. One of the daughters was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition, while the other daughter and her mother were treated for minor injuries, the outlet says. Alert Issued For Missing Bucks Teen Possibly In Philly
Bensalem police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl. Alayjah Davis allegedly ran away from home on Oct. 11, local police said. She stands at 4' 11" tall and weighs 135 pounds, police said. Police believe she may be in the area of North Water Street, North Front Street, Bridge Street, and Pratt Street in Philadelphia.
