Fire Crews Battle Recycling Center Blaze In York County Firefighters battled a blaze at the Gordon Recycling Center in York County early Thursday morning, Nov. 21, according to emergency dispatch. The fire broke out at the facility on the 200 block of North Zarfoss Drive in West Manchester Township around 6:05 a.m., officials said. Passing motorists reported seeing smoke billowing from the area. The fire started when paper inside a large shredder ignited, according to the West Manchester Fire Department.
