The 20-year-old victim was spotted running toward a USPS truck on the 900 block of Courtland Street after he was shot in the stomach around 1:39 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, the Philadelphia Police Department said. USPS Truck Crashes On US Route 22: PennDOT A USPS truck and at least one passenger collided in Harrisburg on Tuesday evening according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The multi-vehicle crash was reported on US 22 eastbound between Elmerton Avenue and Wildwood Park Drive near Cameron Street, PennDOT's 511PA shows.  All eastbound lanes of Route 22 from Maclay to Wildwood Park Drive closed as of 7:02 p.m. the site shows. US Postal Worker Killed By Man Who Thought Poisoned Him, Usdoj Says The Pennsylvania man who shot and killed a US postal worker has told the US Department of Justice why he did, according to a USDOJ release. Eric M. Kortz, 53, of Pittsburgh, shot and killed a uniformed USPS worker on Thursday, as Daily Voice previously reported. Louis Vignone, 58, was shot multiple times while working his regular route as a US Postal Service letter carrier. Vignone was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of multiple gunshots, including one to the head. The USPS worker called police in Hummelstown and reported seeing USPS packages being stolen from homes in the area. When police confronted the man he admitted to it and returned a stolen bottle of perfume. Sean Michael Percy, 47, of Elizabethtown, was charged with one count of theft and was required to pay restitution for stolen perfume that he took from a neighbor.
