Autopsy Scheduled For Infant Found 'Unresponsive' In Harrisburg Apartment
The baby who was found "unresponsive" in a Harrisburg apartment has died, officials told Daily Voice Friday. The unidentified infant was first discovered to be unresponsive in a Hall Manor apartment around 7 p.m. on May 2, according to officials. Life-saving measures were used before the baby was taken to UPMC Harrisburg, where they later passed, officials explained. The cause and manner of death are pending the result of an autopsy which has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 7. No charges have been filed in connection with this baby's death as of 6 p.m. on Friday. One person has died and another has been seriously hurt following a plane crash into a truck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near the Capital City Airport, authorities say. Lawrence "Larry" Sager, 74, of Hummlestown died of multiple traumatic injuries from the crash at UPMC Harrisburg at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 and the plane is registered to Kenneth "Ken" Sager of Hummlestown, according to the FAA. US News & World Report has released its annual rankings of the best hospitals in Pennsylvania. At the very top are Penn Presbyterian in Philadelphia and UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh. PA Man Hospitalized After Fleeing On Foot From High-Speed Police Pursuit
A 44-year-old required hospitalization after he fled from a high-speed police pursuit on foot, Pennsylvania state police say. Jeffrey Jerome Logan of Harrisburg was driving a white Hyundai Sonata when Trooper Whittington spotted him "commit multiple summary traffic violations," on May 21, as stated in the state police release. 19-Year-Old Dauphin County Inmate’s Death Ruled Accidental
Months after an inmate’s death, the Dauphin County district attorney’s office has ruled an inmate’s death accidental. KeJuan Cooke was found unresponsive by his cellmate on March 31, as Daily Voice reported. Cooke's cellmate called for help and prison staff performed CPR, authorities said.
