Funeral Details For Beloved PA Track Coach, Dad Of 2 Released
The funeral details for a 34-year-old father of two young children who was killed in a crash have been released. Ryan Peck, 34, of Forks Township, died from blunt force injuries following a crash near the 5600 Block of Kesslersville Road in Plainfield Township on Aug. 15, as Daily Voice previously reported. An investigation into the accident is ongoing by Slate Belt Regional Police and the Northampton County Coroner’s Office. Funeral Details Released For 13-Year-Old Cheerleader Na'Ryah Wright, Shot Dead In Pennsylvania
Funeral details were released on Tuesday, Aug. 20, for a 13-year-old girl who was shot dead in Harrisburg. Na'Ryah (also known as Naryah) Raye Wright of Steelton was named as the victim of the shooting early Sunday morning, Aug. 11, the family confirmed to GoFundMe and Daily Voice previously reported. The report of the shooting in the area of South 19th and Derry streets came into the police around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, but they never found a victim or a shooter. Alysha Menzies "always had a song in her head and her heart," a loved one wrote in tribute as word spread that the music tragically and unexpectedly had stopped. Menzies, 27, of Garfield, was driving a sedan that apparently slammed into the back of a flatbed tow truck on westbound Route 3 near Route 120 in East Rutherford shortly after 4 a.m. Friday, May 6, responders said.
