After reviewing events leading up to the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man, Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack ruled the police were justified in the killing. Nathaniel Law Liberator, of Carlisle, has been identified as the man shot dead by an area police officer, Trooper Frazer said in an updated release. State Police: Carlisle Man Arrested For Fatal Overdose Of Shippensburg Student
After 10 months police have made an arrest in connection to a fatal overdose of a Shippensburg University student. Angel Rodriguez Leon, 21, of Carlisle, was arrested on Saturday after a police investigation linked him to the crime via social media posts stating that he had delivered fentanyl to the student. The student was living in off-campus housing at the time. His identity has not been made public.
