A 12-year-old student is in the hospital after the were struck by a passing car while crossing the street to get on the school bus, East Cocalico Township Police announced on Wednesday, Oct.23. A pick-up truck and its driver are being sought by Newville police following a hit-and-run with a school bus, according to a release on Thursday, Sept. 26. The crash happened in Newville at 3:02 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the police explained. Multiple school buses had their tires slashed Chambersburg Police announced on Saturday, March 2. The police came to investigate the "criminal mischief" in the 100 block of East South Street on Feb. 26, as stated in the release. The caller met with police and explained that they "had multiple tires on their vehicles which were punctured with an object," the police said. Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the man who boarded a Coatesville school bus and touched a student early Thursday, Jan. 26. The man got on the bus that had stopped to pick up students around 6:50 a.m. at E. Chestnut and N. 6th streets, sat next to a girl and inappropriately touched her leg, officials said. A school bus (van) was involved in a crash in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County on Thursday, according Emergency Dispatch Services.
